Using ArcGIS for Archaeology - Tutorials

The following tutorials are in response to some of the most commonly asked questions that I receive. I have seperated them into three levels of difficulty. The low-difficulty tutorials deal with fairly quick processes, and typically don't require the use of an extension program. The mid-difficulty tutorials do usually require extension toolbars (available because of licensed extension programs) but are not overly difficult. The high-difficult tutorials require archaeological understanding (either theoretical or methodological) and complex ArcGIS tasks.

At the present, only a few tutorials exist. I would like to add at least one tutorial a week for the next couple of months. So, if you have any ideas or questions that you would like to see a tutorial for, feel free to email me. I'm planning to add tutorials on generating least-cost pathways, georeferencing photographs, and working with old CAD drawings in ArcGIS.

I am not currently providing sample data to use in these tutorials, however, this may change in the future if it turns out that it is necessary.
