Paul Anderson's Links Page - large depository of updated GIS links, particulary good for US and general data stuff.
Professor Kenneth L. Kvamme - personal page of Ken Kvamme, links to his own sites which should be known to any archaeologists interested in using GIS. Of particular interest is the North American Database of Archaeological Geophysics (NADAG).

AHDS Guides to Good Practice - online versions of various documents concerning standards for digital data in archaeology. The sties includes guides to good practice for GIS in archaeology, the preservation of digital archives, GIS and history, etc.
ArcNorth New - ArcNorth News is the only GIS publication dedicated to telling the stories of Canadian GIS professionals using ESRI technology. Published bi-annually, with a circulation of over 7,000, ArcNorth News has been operating since 1997. All past issues available for free download.
Center for Spatially Integrated Social Science - ecognizes the growing significance of space, spatiality, location, and place in social science research, and publishes a wide range of books useful for instruction or grounding within a social science framework.
International Archives of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences - list of all publications, including online content for many of the more recent ones. Again, an excellent resource for grounding within a social science framework.
Computer Applications in Archaeology (CAA) Conference Proceedings - exactly what it says, with some online content from more recent meetings.
International Committee for Documentation of Cultural Heritage - look for publications link on the left hand menu.
European Network of Excellence in Open Cultural Heritage - European consortium with online content, check out the publications section.
CINECA - some online pubs about GIS and heritage.

ESRI Archaeology Interest Group - ESRI's GIS for Archaeology website
Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative - UCLA-based group that uses time and space to enhance understanding and preservation of human culture.
Mn/Model Statewide Archaeological Predictive Model - Mn/Model is a set of GIS-based tools that help Mn/DOT avoid impacts on archaeological sites throughout Minnesota. The final products include GIS-based statistical models that map the potential for pre-1837 surface archaeological sites in Minnesota. These models are used by Mn/DOT for site avoidance and survey design.

Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection - loads of downloadable maps, not georeferenced though.
NOAA Bathymetry Data - free data for the USA.
GIS Data Depot - large amount of gross-level information for the entire planet, including political boundaries, natural lines, roads, etc.
MapAbility - some useful data, very piecemeal. Includes vMap data for some of the world. Some of the data is available for a fee.
